BransonTea Party Preparations

Well, it looks like the event is coming together to be something special. The Branson Tea Party Coalition members have been hard at work to make sure that their event on Saturday the 17th will be one to remember.
We have verified that the Tea Party will be broadcast LIVE Nationally on The Roth Show, hosted by Dr. Laurie Roth on the Harris Broadcasting Network, America’s newest radio network, based right here in Branson, Missouri. Her show is carried by more than sixty radio stations all across America. She recently served as a moderator at last month’s CPAC Conference in Washington DC, and was a nominee for the Ronald Reagan Award.
She will do her three (3) hour show, live on HBN, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, covering both the Roadside Protest and the Speakers Forum. During the course of her show, she will be conducting interviews, describing events and festivities, and interacting with the guest speakers and the attendees. During the week preceding the Tea Party, Dr. Laurie will be promoting her visit to Branson and the Branson Tea Party on her show. The show she will be doing live in Branson will also be recorded on Saturday and replayed on her stations as her regular Monday (April 19) radio show for the benefit of her week-day listeners.
Go to http://www.harrisbroadcastingnetwork.com/ and click on the "Listen Live" button. Even if you can't make the event you can still listen to our great speakers and the event from anywhere in the world. Thanks HBN!

The stage arrived at AREA 57 today and preparations for vendor booths have begun. Thanks to Denise Hay and the Springfield 912er's for coordination of the booth spaces. It has really taken a burden off our shoulders.
It is not too late to reserve your booth space. The cost for a space is: Information Groups-$10.00 Vendors-$25.00 Political Candidates-$50.00
For more information about reserving a space go to-
http://www.springfield912ers.com/BransonTeaParty.html
We have 16 different groups, vendors or candidates confirmed for booth space.
The Branson Tea Party Coalition will of course have a booth offering a variety of merchandise, from the new "Tea Party Patriot" yard signs to buttons, bumper stickers and copies of the US Constitution, all available for a donation to the cause. There will also be an opportunity to register to vote at the booth.

Candidates that have secured booth space so far are Tracy Mooney for MO Representative 143rd District, James Schmidt for U.S. Senate, Paul Curtman for MO Representative 105th District, Nita Jane Ayres for MO Representative 62nd District, Billy Long for US 7th District, Jack Goodman for US 7th District & Hector Maldonado for US Senate.

Other booths will be manned (or womened?) by the Springfield 912er's, Concerned Women for America, Fair Tax proponents, The Ozarks Minutemen, Well Fed Neighbor, Beth Moore with AFLAC, Dixie Outfitters, America Asleep Know More & Market Vision.

Tera, Judy & Tracie has been out on the roadside promoting the event handing out flyers, bumper stickers and lots of smiles. She got a little help today from the Constitutional Study group which decided to play hookey and skip class to help with site preparation and information distribution. Thanks to all!
Tera, Haven and Eric have been on the radio promoting the event on various stations across the airwaves and internet. Great job!

Thanks to Gary for all the behind the scenes planning and making sure all our ducks are in a row. We even tried our hands at speech writing until late in the evening helping to tune up Tera's speech to be given on Friday at the White House Theater around 12pm during Gene Bicknell's Constitutional Coalition Conference. The conference runs from 9:00 to 5:00 and is free to the public, admission is $250.00 anywhere else in US. Asa Hutchinson is also one of the 7 speakers. Get out there and get some great information from some high powered speakers!

Volunteers are always needed for the Tea Party effort and if you have some time, talent or treasure available to help out this great effort to inform, support and push for Constitutional principles, lower taxes, fiscal responsibility in government and the rights of the States and their people then feel free to check us out at www.bransonteaparty.com contact us at info@bransonteaparty.com or leave me note at bransonpatriot@gmail.com Please include your name, email info and what you would like to help out with. We are actively trying to develop a network of volunteers who are willing to write letters to editors / elected officials, go to and report on meetings of City councils, County Commissions, School boards etc; volunteers to help with events and protests, host and / or facilitate educational programs or just give a donation to further these programs.

Thanks to all you fellow Patriots and all that you are doing to keep this Nation strong and Free.

The Branson Tea Party Coalition will be hosting a peaceful, Constitutional rally on Saturday, April 17th at AREA 57 next to the Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater. The event will kick off with a roadside demonstration at 11am. Participants are encouraged to bring their signs and voices to stand along the roadside between Fall Creek road and Applebee's on the famous Hwy 76; Country Music Boulevard from 11am to 12pm. Please keep your signs respectful and appropriate for this family friendly event.
The focus will then turn to the Speaker's forum from 12pm to 2pm featuring-

Paul Curtman- Served in the Marine Corp as an infantryman with Golf Co. 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines. As a Marine Sergeant Paul served as a squad leader in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Curtman is an ardent student of history and a supporter of the U.S. Constitution. His outspoken and public advocacy for our elected officials to adhere and be responsive to the will of the people and the United States Constitution has resulted in numerous appearances on both local and national television & radio talk shows.

Jay Stewart- Writer of a political and public policy blog http://thereyfalcon.wordpress.com/ and founder of the St. Louis School of Common Sense Conservatism. While Jay is conservative, he sees our movement as being about conservatives, moderate Democrats, independents and
anyone else who wants to set this nation back to a track of strength, ascendacy, and wealth creation. Jay also writes from the perspective of a black conservative who believes that race is no longer relevant because the new question is whether you are a lover of freedom or a Statist.

Dana Loesch- Dana blogs at DanaRadio.com and Mamalogues.com and hosts her own radio show, The Dana Show, on KFTK 97.1 FM Talk. Dana appears regularly on Fox News and
CNN, and was the first and only female guest host for the popular Michael Savage, who called her his "mental match." She and her husband, Chris, and their two young sons live in St. Louis.

Entertainment for the event will include the singing of the National Anthem by the stars of the popular Branson Show "SIX", a rendition of Merle Haggard's song "The Fighting Side of Me" by Clay Cooper from the Clay Cooper Theater & Jana King Evans will be performing "God Bless America".
Additionally, sound production and music will be provided by local radio personality, Matt Duncan's, Artistry Entertainment.

There will be booths available to groups, vendors and Candidates to have a presence at the event. Though Candidates will not be able to speak at this non-partisan event, it will be a good opportunity for the people to meet the Candidates to find out where they stand on the issues as well as an opportunity for the Candidates to gain some recognition.
The Springfield 912'ers are joining with the BTP Coalition in coordinating the booth rentals. Contact Denise Hay- 417.350.4777 or visit http://www.springfield912ers.com/ for more information on purchasing booth space.

Introduction

Hello all,
This is my first foray into "blogging". My goal with this blog is to have a place to pass along information and opinions about what is happening in our country, states and towns that affect the way we live our lives and enjoy the freedoms and rights endowed to us by our creator.

My politics are conservative in nature, with emphasis on upholding and following the original intent of the Constitution. I am for standing up for the freedoms ensured by the Constitution and standing against it's attackers. I am part of the Tea Party movement and active in local campaigns. I also am facilitating a class on Constitutional studies using "The 5000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen, as the text book. I am a firm believer in the "28 Principles of Liberty" outlined in this book.

The more I learn about how our Great Nation was founded and the ideas that formed the opinions of it's authors, the greater the appreciation for what it stands for and sadness for what has been lost from it. Our nation is certainly under attack from those who will offer "hope and change" at the expense of our liberty and freedoms. Whether you call it Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Liberalism, or any other "ism" they all have the same goal. To dismantle or change completely the structure of our government by the usurpation of power and the dumbing down of the people to the extent that they don't even realize what they are losing.

There will definitely be more to come on a number of subjects and invitations as well as challenges to get involved in protecting our rights and the future of our children and nation as a whole. I am looking forward to getting to know where you stand and to share my views with you!

Thanks for Reading
